Three parties could still stop La Liga match in the US
The Spanish players’ union (AFE) is not enthusiastic about La Liga’s idea of staging a league match in the United States. On Monday, it was announced that the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) had approved the match between Villarreal and Barcelona to be played in Miami. However, there are three parties that could still block it.

According to Fabrizio Romano and the BBC, Manchester City are in talks with Gianluigi Donnarumma. The goalkeeper is on a collision course with Paris Saint-Germain and has been left out of the squad for the Super Cup match against Tottenham Hotspur. As a result, Ederson’s departure to Turkey also appears to have gathered pace.
Zabarnyi is the first Ukrainian player in PSG’s history
PSG have signed Ukrainian international Illia Zabarnyi from Bournemouth for nearly €70m, making him the first Ukrainian in the club’s history. The 22-year-old centre-back joins a star-studded squad after impressing in the Premier League and is seen as a key long-term addition to the European champions’ defence.
