UEFA tells Atletico to step aside at Barca request
Barcelona were rebuffed twice by UEFA in quick succession. First, the complaint about the refereeing in last week’s Champions League match against Atletico Madrid was declared inadmissible. Then Atletico were also upheld in the dispute over the pitch.

French media are very concerned about Hugo Ekitike injury after he went off on Tuesday evening with what appeared to be a serious injury during Liverpool lost Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain. In France, there are fears that the striker has torn his Achilles tendon, which would rule him out of the World Cup and keep him sidelined for the rest of the calendar year.
