Mohamed Salah may have played his final game for Liverpool after suffering a thigh injury, raising doubts over a farewell appearance before leaving Anfield.
Arteta critical after Makkelie performance
Danny Makkelie refereed the first leg between Atlético Madrid and Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday evening, but had an unfortunate night, to say the least. The Dutch referee took centre stage by pointing to the spot three times, although one of those decisions was overturned. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had little praise for Makkelie afterwards. I am very upset.
PSG enjoys a great victory
From the sidelines, it was already a great match, so on the pitch it must have been even better. At Paris Saint-Germain, they were very happy with the impressive victory over Bayern Munich, although the Germans came back well into the game. Both teams have the mentality to never give up and always want to move forward.
