Severance payouts over 100 million at United after hefty fee for Amorim
Manchester United must pay Rúben Amorim more than €18 million following his dismissal. That is the amount required to buy out the remaining term of the Portuguese coach’s contract and that of his staff. This takes the total to over €100 million in severance payments to managers since the post-Alex Ferguson era.
