Simeone backs Alvarez after failed Barcelona move
Diego Simeone has spoken about the situation surrounding Julián Álvarez. The Atlético Madrid coach said at his press conference on Friday that he is pleased the striker has stayed at the club. Simeone also stressed that he expects Álvarez to bounce back and confirmed that he will be part of the squad for Saturday match against Athletic Bilbao.
